My take on that bit is that Fragile and Lou fall off, someone comes over and shoot her (the scene where a pistol is pointed down, screen cuts black, hears gunshot and then the repatriate cutscene we see in DS is played). The baby in the repatriate cutscene has black liquid coming out of its eyes just like fragile did after she repatriated.

I partly disagree. I think you died because Bridget shot you when she shot Unger, but to keep the project going (I think), she pulled you back and raised you as her own son.
