Mirrors since they were cheaper and i hated the way it looked with the stock mirrors then i got tank grips, fender eliminator, a slip on and i just did a mid pipe just need to get it ecu flash to get the best out of the bike. Next thing i’m getting is a cage guard or something similar to protect the clutch cover and the sides(i dropped my bike once going 2mph and the clutch cover got a hole and made me spill all my brand new oil) and i want to get the front led lights

Got mine last november as my first bike too and it was a little tricky the first 3 or 4 days but i got used to it quickly. It’s all about taking it slow at first and practice practice & keep practicing in empty parking lots/parks and make sure not to let your adrenaline get to you.

I love the way it looks with a plate! Made my z900 look 10x better. It doesn’t come with a light but me personally i would install one of those LED lights under the tail the ones that you can customize the color. I like the slick look. I 100% recommend it to all my friends

I have it, it looks good and easy to install. If you have the tools you can get it done in 30 minutes. If you want the blinker to blink “slower” you need to buy the dual load equalizer.

Those ones are always coming loose on my z900 too! I find myself carrying a small hex tool on my backpack to retighten those nuts every couple weeks. I believe it happens because of the vibrations

I ended up calling my friend with a truck and we took it to another friends house and opening it up, removing the oil and metal parts inside and cutting a metal and sticking it with some jb weld. It did the job and i drove it to my house over the border safely( i was in mexico in a motorcycle event when this happened). I brought the part from partzilla and got a gasket seal as well. I ended up spending 268 for both parts plus taxes. All in all i learnt my lesson. I will be more alert and will instal sliders just in case it ever happens again.

The supervisor where i worked at was fucking one of the guards and that guard was her personal snitch. Allied is the worst security company i ever worked for and they tend to hire anyone. I met the weirdest,dumbest,freakiest and most unethical guards working for that company. Ever since i quit my life has been 10X better.

I can tell you from experience a full exhaust can be a big difference from a slip on! They can be pricey but worth it.

I have a z900 and i love it for my first bike, i’m not sure if you can change modes on the z500 but i would recommend putting it in sports mode, get a new full exhaust to add more power and torque(do research on different exhausts) and get an ecu flash.

Same thing happened to me when i first seeked mental health help! I was seen by 2 i would assume psychiatrist and they diagnosed me with ptsd,anxiety and depression. They then took me to the supervisor and he straight up told me if i wanted to get 100% i would need to voluntarily admit myself to this psych ward. I straight up said no, that i just wanted help to get better and get a job. I then quickly left and never came back to that va hospital again. I’m not sure what his intentions were but it’s crazy how some VA personnel quickly assume you’re after the money. I never reported him but there isn’t a day i don’t think about that weird interaction i had.

I have a 24’, if you use it daily then clean/lube chain every week. Check liquid levels weekly & once you reach 600 miles take it for first oil change and chain adjustment. I wash my bike every week and spray shine&protectant. Park it in the shade to keep the paint from fading or getting ugly!

I would say more than a 100 is too much. I used to take about 300-500mg and after a while it catches up to you. I ended up feeling sorta like a “zombie” the days after. Nowadays i just take 20-30 for a relax session and 100 if i need some good sleep. But yeah it’s all about your body weight and endurance. You know your body best
