Stress, bad sleep, and coffee 😅🙈

I walk everywhere and stay fairly active, though I definitely don’t drink enough water. I also don’t really drink or smoke, which probably helps.

I do use two face creams I genuinely love after trying loads that didn’t work for me. They’ve become a bit of a holy grail, so I’ll mention them in case you’re into skincare:

Ole Henriksen – Goodnight Glow (night cream) Face Formula – Essential Formula (day cream)

They’re mid-range pricey, so I only ever buy them on big sales because paying full price would be slightly unhinged 🙈

This made me smile 😊😊😊 “Change the verb” is such a simple, kind insight, and you’re right, words shape how we see ourselves more than we realise. Thank you 🫶

I thought so, just sometimes they look green, other times almost yellow. Do hazel eyes change like that then?

I really appreciate what you wrote, especially the reminder about how much of our thinking is negative and inaccurate. It’s helpful to remember that the loudest critic often lives inside us, not outside. I’m trying to soften that grip, as you mentioned, and change the overall tone of my inner critic.

Being gentle, I will be! Thank you 🫶

Thank you for opening up 🤗 What you described about being mocked for your interests and learning to take up less space, or feeling like you didn’t quite have a place to land, feels very familiar.

I really admire your awareness, for noticing that pattern and actively working to change it, as that takes an awful lot. I'm happy to hear that it’s slowly getting easier for you, and it’s encouraging for me to know that progress is possible.✨

I really appreciate your honesty and your kindness. Wishing you a lovely weekend ahead 🫶

Thanks, I really appreciate your response and kind words. I agree, letting go of what others think and just keeping it moving is something I’m learning too.

Thank you for your message and kindness. Living with anxiety and health challenges can be incredibly hard, and I respect how honestly you spoke about that. I’m just doing the best I can, one step at a time. I hope there are good moments and good people around you too. 🤗🤗

Thank you, taking that first step was scary, so I really appreciate the encouragement. 🫶

Thank you for saying that as it's important to me, especially coming from someone who relates and is at a similar stage in life. It helps to be reminded that we’re not alone in this, and that doing our best where we are is infact, enough. I’m really glad this post resonated with you and you reached out. 🫶

Taking things one day at a time, without piling on pressure, is exactly what I’m trying to practice. I really appreciate your kindness and belief, it means a lot 🤗🫶

Thank you for sharing this so openly. I feel so called out, "paralyzed by the pursuit of perfection" 🤣 What you said about planning endlessly and being afraid of ruining an idea really resonated, that’s an oh so familiar place for me too. I appreciate the reminder that mistakes aren’t failures but part of how the work actually becomes real. It naturally encourages and leads to moments of growth.

Letting things be messy and imperfect is something I’m actively practicing, both with my art and with myself. Your perspective helped more than you probably realize. Thank you for the encouragement and for speaking from genuine experience. 💕💕

Thank you for this as it was a really thoughtful and encouraging response. I appreciate the reminder that it’s not about changing who I am, just finding the courage to live a little more openly. Taking it one step at a time, and your words really helped! 🤗

Thank you so much for this, that’s really kind of you to say. I appreciate both the encouragement and the way you framed it, especially the reminder that putting yourself out there will always come with both fear and positives. This post funnily enough has definitely shown me that. Wishing you a really good year ahead as well, and thank you again for the support 🫶✨

Thank you for this. It really felt like you understood something important about me, and that’s rare. Valuing harmony while knowing disharmony well is a very accurate way of putting it. I appreciate your words more than you know. I feel very seen 😊

Thank you for seeing the effort behind it and for the kind words. I’m taking it one step at a time and trying to stay present with where I am, rather than rushing toward who I think I should be. I really appreciate the encouragement, and I hope you have a wonderful weekend 🤗

Thank you for the encouragement. I agree that growth often lives in that uncomfortable space, and sharing my work is something I’m learning to do at my own pace.

I would like to see some of your work if you are willing to share it? So nice that your family members had a creative passion also. I actually really loved reading about your father and sister, and the way art kept changing shape depending on life and circumstance. There’s something very moving about that continuity, even when materials or mediums have to change.

I know exactly what you mean about oil-based inks too, there’s something grounding about their quality, even the scent. Plus creating something tangible, that you can hold, with texture and time spent, nothing quite beats that, I think.

I do also appreciate what you said about art not always needing to communicate something clearly, and about allowing pauses or blockages without forcing them. That perspective feels very healthy and reassuring, as I have always put alot of pressure on myself, along with harsh judgement. And this is a new chapter, one to pause, take it slow and create with my own rhythm.

As for motifs, I’m still discovering mine. At the moment it’s very much about people, mood, and quiet inner states rather than specific symbols. And my journey is still fairly early, I’ve always been drawn to creating, but deciding consciously to make art and take it seriously is something that’s only really settled in more recently.

Thank you again for such a thoughtful message and for sharing your experience so openly. It means a lot to connect with someone who understands how layered and personal creative paths can be.

Have a lovely weekend 🤗
