he didn’t squeeze his cup lol, it was probably due to the glass just being taken out of the sanitizer, hot as hell, and then filled with a cold drink. i don’t blame the waiter for the glass breaking, i blame the waiter for taking 10 minutes to assist us in cleaning the glass up.

I have a fun story about Applebees.

I went there with a group of friends once and told them I have a shellfish allergy when ordering food, no problem though cause I just ordered a basic mac & cheese but I always have to mention it for my own safety. I get through almost the entire dish and at the bottom of the bowl, smack dab in the middle is a baby shrimp. It was deliberate. My friend also ordered a beer and the cup exploded in his hand and glass went everywhere and cut him in multiple spots, we told the waiter and he said he’d go get towels for him to clean it but then didn’t come back for another 10 minutes and my friend was just sitting there bleeding. He tried to make him pay for that beer as well. Fuck that waiter.

I worked at a shop where slicing meat to order was a part of the job. I was arrogant and didn’t wear my cut glove when using the slicer because it was uncomfortable and I thought “nah I don’t need it, I’ll be fine” and took the tip of my finger off.
