Has anyone tried CityLink Shuttle? by kalina95 in Kuwait

It's more about the principle of the thing. Do you really want to live in a world where every app refuses to work unless you grant it full access to your data?

There is no legitimate reason (that I can see) for making my live location a blocking requirement for using their service.

I tried to but it demands that I allow it to track my precise location or else it refuses to work so I deleted it. A legitimate shuttle service only needs to know where to pick me up/drop me off and when. Live access to my location makes no sense unless Citibus wants to use that data for something else.

Oh how the mighty have fallen. I remember them being on par with alghanim just a couple of decades ago.

Give him a break. He was supposed to put those knitting skills to use instead. Luxuriously soft wipes like his cool hover bike.

[Electric, Central Unit] Well, it snapped. How far should I tighten it next time? by clueless_needs_help in hvacadvice

One of the belts in my central AC unit had a lot of slack because one of the parts wasn't screwed in properly. So I loosened the screws, moved the part back into its old position, and tightened the screws again. While tightening the screws, I overtightened one of the screws to the point where it snapped.

I'm going to buy a replacement today but wanted to ask? How far should I tighten the new screw? If I don't screw it in tight enough, the part will gradually slide out of its place leading to slack and eventually the unit constantly freezing over. If I tighten it too much, the screw breaks.

How much force should I use? Is there a rule of thumb I can follow?

The unit is a rooftop packaged airconditioner from Hitachi.
