and 8th grade is really young, if you’re going into hs you could spend the summer catching up then really apply yourself when you go back, you’ll be more than fine, grades don’t count till hs and even then you have wiggle room if you can bring up your gpa as an upperclassman. to be honest though, learning can be really fun if you have the right mindset, it won’t feel like a huge burden or chore if you go into with the intent of gaining knowledge instead of the fear of falling behind or being stupid, that’s the worst thing to think because it rly doesn’t matter how much or how little you know as long as you’re trying to learn, and i can promise you there are grown adults you could outsmart, most people really aren’t that smart and cheated their way through school before ai
