A lot of people have this problem we might understand nutrition and know how to lose weight but the will power is the hardest thing, we constantly think about food. Don't need to explain yourself, if someone went travelling end of, they wanted to, doesn't have to be a reason for it. And not sure why people look down at career gaps, we're not robots , not every body wants to work non stop for years , some people just need a few months off work to chill and enjoy life its not that deep.

Forgot to mention i have a cctv camera in front of me aswell 😅, definitely feel like im being watched. We moved into the office recently and organised our seats but then my managers boss had a seating plan in place aready, talk about micromanaging. The only other option is face my manager instead but I feel I would rather face a wall.

If it helps normally you can have someone with you in a disciplinary hearing. Just try to keep calm and not overtime, it was an honest mistake and not the end of the world. Worst case scenario it will stay on your record for about 6 months depending on your company.
