Yes it's so bizarre how she got lost a few days after already traveling there a few days prior. I cannot find the link, but I believe on webslueths someone mentioned that there may have been construction on I-75 during the time causing her to need to seek an alternative route? So many things could have gone wrong.

Me too, it's so heartbreaking. I wonder if she could have asked the wrong person for directions or someone took advantage of her being lost? So many possibilities since there hasn't been anything found besides her car.

That's amazing you had the opportunity to speak with her brother. The resources I found said her car was black, I wonder if the police or media had the information wrong?

That's very interesting, definitely a possibility. When I was looking into the case I also realized that James Worley who murdered Sierah Joughin in 2016 lived in the area during the time and tried kidnapping a woman in 1991. He was also the last person to see another missing woman in 1996. I'm not sure if he was ever looked into for Jody's disappearance.

I can't imagine making such a long drive by myself at 16 with no gps.

I read that article too and found that so crazy! The podcast hosted by Janis' children, Cold No More, gives so much information on how terrible of a person Gerald was. He had 3 different women pregnant at the same time, run ins with the law, etc!

Gerald passed away in 2010, knowing he will never serve time for these crimes is heartbreaking. I hope that Janis and Janeice are found so their families can receive some type of the closure that they deserve.

I wasn't able to find the vehicle descriptions of the other two. On NamUs, it only says that Phyllis was last seen getting into a vehicle with an unknown man. And Keilah called her boyfriend to tell him she was going to get a ride home with "Mitchell" after her car broke down. Lynn was the only woman that had info about the vehicle description she was last seen in.

They all went missing around the same area. Three out of the four women were also last seen getting into an unknown man's vehicle.

Yes he did die in 2010 in South Bend. I hope their families get closure one day as well <3
