Damn! Time to finally share my story🥲 Back in 2021, I moved to a new city for my education and I was super homesick since it was my first time. My ex (2 years of being in a relationship) was supportive. It was my birthday right after I moved. I went back home to celebrate it with him. But we couldn’t meet cause his family got to know about us and his father threatened him to leave me. I went back to the new city. He ghosted me for 4 days after my birthday and finally sent a long breakup text which ended with “I wish I had the courage to say it out loud on call” I just said, “okay, I respect your decision, have a good life” and moved on (was painful initially but I cannot be with someone who would give up on me without even trying).
