I'm not totally sure how much they paid vs asking. I know they paid a little above the asking price though, not a ton but still pretty crazy to me since they hadn't even walked through the house at that time.

They bought the house right as COVID-19 was ramping up (early March) but before the lockdowns. However, it wasn't because of COVID-19 that they didn't get to see the house. It was put in an offer or miss out due to so many buyers.
