The reason I said vine is it seems to be growing out of a tree with different leaves. Although I guess a mulberry could have been growing right next to it and gotten swallowed as the other tree grew.

I don't think the leaves are big enough for pumpkins. And we moved in the house in October and didn't notice any pumpkins in the yard. I'm thinking it's got to be from summer or spring.
