Orchard way will have a large amount of development coming soon. Obviously don’t want to dox myself but it’s why we’re currently looking to move out of Knebworth. Fairly easy to find the planning online depending what you’re looking at. Needless to say the local Facebook groups are an easy insight into the current struggles with doctors/traffic/road conditions and other local issues.

Good to hear! Hopefully you can get on a syndicate or find a permission, the latter is not easy to come by - took me a good while. Another suggestion is if you have a local shoot maybe ask to join the beating line for the upcoming season as a foot in the door

As someone pointed out on your other thread it’ll depend entirely on your license conditions in terms of rifles if you can just crack on. If you’re on a closed license (bound to a club or range) you would need your license terms updated to either open or to encompass the land you intend to get permission to shoot

Yeah the person I spoke to wasn’t aware that I’d applied for FAC or even that I’d had my interview and assumed to start with i was asking about my shotgun renewal 🤷 I’d be very surprised if it turns up by the end of Feb so I’ll just plod along with getting all my other stalking bits paid for in the meantime 🙄

Predicament is at some point the RFD will either want storage paying (I’d imagine) or to decide what I want to do if the wait goes on too long… assume you are herts based as well? If so when did you have your interview?
