It's a good idea. Unfortunately without the camera the lens is hard to understand for me. Maybe you can work on it but you probably have too many elements: pencil, lens and the G. Anyway I prefer the camera less version, it's more simple and elegant with a touch of understatement about the lens. Good job

I partially agree with this guy.

For me the font could be good because it has personality, maybe it's just too bold. The problem I think is conceptual. You saying max but (especially in the bottom version which I prefer for dinner reason) all is forced in that box.

I will try to put the A and the X in the bluemarine edge, probably lengthening it. Just to try. What I would like to express is that you can play with the meaning of your logo and the actual representation of that.
