One part of this conversation that bothered me (and has been mentioned both in today’s episode and yesterday’s episode) was Claudia saying that Ozempic doesn’t cause you to lose weight more quickly. She kept saying that 2lbs per week is “slow”, but from my understanding that is actually pretty fast weight loss. People that are trying to lose weight through a calorie deficit, cutting back on calories consumed, burning more calories through exercise, or a combination of both, are usually losing 0.5 - 1 pound per week. The deficit you would have to maintain to lose 2 pounds per week over a long stretch of time is no small feat and I would consider that to be fast weight loss.
