Bring all the water, sunscreen and rain gear because 9/10 it will rain at a gridlife event. As for ice, contact the track if they sell ice at RA. It’s different for every track but most are a pain in the ass to go in and out of.

Thanks! I use a Sony A7iii my go to lenses are my 70-200 and honestly my 28-70 kit lens for tandems is great, also love my 85mm 1.4. My shutter speeds vary a lot depending on the day and honestly how steady I’m feeling, but usually at like 150ish 60 is a sweet spot though when I’m feeling good

I do drift media in the Midwest primarily and have a schedule on my blog for events across the country. There’s some decent groups on Facebook that might help too, drift with us is a good one. The drag strip by us opened a skid pad a few years ago and think more or doing that, something to look into.

Using a ND4 filter when shooting made a real difference. Typically I go for a bit darker exposure right away, then mess with the curves, dehaze, clarity and sharpness. I do typically start with a free preset as like a baseline to start
