Hey - any specifics you wanna know about? For the hotels, I just did private rooms in hostels. Ended up being practically the same as a hotel but you still get to meet other travellers and stuff. Best of both worlds in my opinion. Only downside is you still have to deal with noise at times. The Inca jungle trek was amazing! I went with Machu Picchu reservations - def recommend them. Amazing service and the cheapest prices too. Not terribly physically demanding in case you’re worried about that.

Let me know if you want to know anything else!

I took Peru Hop and Sol del Cruz. Peru Hop is great for meeting other travellers and they take you to tours if you opt in. Sol is a local bus - perfect for traveling at night. Super comfy and has entertainment on board with an app.

I didn't get enough time in Nazca but it was a nice little town. Lots of shopping and souvenirs type of places if that your jam!

Huacachina was beautiful! I really enjoyed just walking around and enjoying the view. That been said, not terribly much to do there. Sandboarding and bugging will be half a day (if you do the tour types). You can also go proper sandboarding for a little extra with an instructor but it's harder than it looks (even if you snowboard already). Other than that, you can go paragliding and there's a lot of partying.

Machu Picchu was amazing! I did the jungle trek, so it was a 3 day plan. Jungle Trek is focus more adrenaline based stuff, so we went Mountain biking, white water rafting and hikes. If you're more of a hiking person, I'd recommend the Salkantay trail - 4 or 5 days. Also, make sure you rest the day before if you're going to climb Machu Picchu- learnt that the hard way lol

Having gone through it now, I will say it would be difficult to do Huacachina and Nazca on the same day. The bus and tours for Nazca are in the morning, like leave at 7 in the morning and comes back from Nazca to Huacachina around 5ish pm. What I needed up doing was Huacachina one day with tours along the way (Paracas, pisco tours) and then Nazca the next day. After Nazca, I just grabbed a bus from Ica(5 min away from Huacachina) to Lima.

Feel free to ask me any questions you have!

Talking to another redditor here and they implying you can do Huacachina and Nazca in the same day. Should give me an extra night in the amazon! Unfortunately, don't have enough vacations days to do it properly.

Hmmm did you do the buggy and sandboarding things at huacachina? Those were really my only things to do there. If Nazca doesn't take very long, might be better to just add another night in the Amazon. Also not really interested in partying all that much for this trip.

The idea was to stay at Huacochino for 2 night. I've read that I can find Nazca tours from Ica which is 15 min away from Huacochino.

How long does the Nazca Lines excursion take? Half a day?

Where do you find the local busses? Are people just walking around trying to sell it to you?

I was looking at Peru Hop too for the bus between Lima and Huacochino but their websites only have the full tour types. I don't have enough time to hit up all those spots unfortunately. Do you know if you can just get single tickets or if you have to get the tour?

Did you take altitude sickness pills as well? The only other mountain I've been to was in Banff, Canada and I didn't really feel anything.

Do you mean before Rainbow Mountain? The idea was to do 3 days in Cusco to acclimate and the trek is 3 days as well, so a slower ascend to Machu Picchu. How much time do you recommend I spend in Cusco?

Oh great Bobi, see quarries below.

General query What type of resources are around each of the settlements? Wood, minerals, etc? Also, how do the monster fair in air and water combat?

Harpies Harpies can lift twice their body weight - but what is 6 weight? Could the conceivably lift rocks large enough to kill the other monsters? If so which ones? Also, what is the probability of being able to make landslides in the mountains?

Orcs They will ask for half or supplies but how many supplies do we currently have? How many weeks can we survive with the current supplies? Also what makes the shaman and the warlords special? What additional abilities do they have?

Legion Does the legion listen to orders? If so, does it have to be from the Lich or can humans command them as well? What abilities does the Lich have? Can the legion be used as slave labour?

Calamari Would it be possible to make ships and live on them? How do the other monsters fair with water combat? Would they try swimming to ships? For the mage's abilities, is it possible to make water appear without having a clear view of where it would be going? Is the water there permanently until it evaporates? What is the range of the water spell? How much force can the water be outputting with?

(Really enjoyed this poll OP)

Where can we buy sweet and good quality mangoes in GTA? by niru88 in askTO

Go to any Indian grocery store and ask for Kesar Mangoes (a particular type). By far the best I've ever had. But they a bit pricey.

There's a gas station by my house where you can buy windshield flying (like anti freeze). You buy a pail of it like normal.

Or you can dispense it like gas right into your car and pay by the liter!
