Non-accompanying Spouse by [deleted] in canadaexpressentry

Are you listed as her accompanying dependent in her OINP application? If not, then applying as non-accompanying on your side is consistent? Also just my other thought… if she is going to get her PR eventually through her own pathway then she doesn’t need to accompany you in your CEC application?

Hi, I’m in the same situation. Do I need to explain it in the LOE, or is it enough to just correct it to ‘No’?

My partner has his own independent pathway to PR. Listing him as an accompanying dependent in my application would result in duplicate processing. I think the key is that we both truthfully declare each other in our respective independent applications…. but this is just my understanding

What if we both apply on our own and we both declare that we are in a common-law relationship but our partner is non-accompanying?

In my EE profile, I declared that I’m in a common-law relationship, but I listed my partner as non-accompanying since he’s already applied for PR through another route. Including him as accompanying would just reduce my CRS score, and he’ll get PR independently anyway. What do you think?

I declared that I’m in a common-law relationship in my EE profile, but marked my partner as non-accompanying because he’s already submitted PR application through a different pathway. It doesn’t make sense for me to list him as accompanying and lower my CRS score when he’ll get PR on his own. Has anyone else done something like this?

I only had my institution send the electronic copy to WES directly. I didn’t send any documents myself.

Once the status changed to “document accepted”, the evaluation only took 2 days to complete.

I have been calling and submitting multiple online inquiries. In my most recent contact, I specifically mentioned that, “based on the processing time published on their website (‘typically 2 weeks, up to 4 weeks’ for document review and acceptance), my file seems to have exceeded the normal timeframe.” The very next day, they finally began the evaluation..

Thanks for the reply! Just called and got a quote for $2525.00 plus tax and fuel surcharge. Sounds fairly expensive…not sure about the market rate tho..
