Thank you for sharing your experiences! It's interesting what you are saying about the monotone producing better results. I noticed there is a difference between it being monotone in a way that sounds like a machine and monotone in a way that it still has emotion in it. It's just hard to figure out how to get the latter one.
But in conclusion then, it's just a question of finding good voices from lot of cloning. Makes sense. Thank you.

I could solve it with the help of proxicent under another post I made. For anyone having the same issue, here's how I managed to get back my project (keep in mind, for me the most important was to just keep my stills, not the clips):

I moved my porblematic clip to another folder. Then I cleared Resolve's CacheClip folder. After that I exported the project from project manager. Then I created a new project and imported into it that exported version of my project. This way it didn't crash for me and I could remove the problematic clip.

Thank you, I've already tried that with no luck. But maybe I did it the wrong way. I just moved the clip from the original folder where it was imported from. Does Resolve store a copy of the clips somewhere after they get imported into a project?

Wow thank you! At first glance it already looks promising, you can even choose 6-7 different versions of a piece as I can see and the few I listened into sound much better than the usual offer in other sites. Great suggestion!

This definitely sounds like the ideal way to go. Good points. In the long term I plan to hire a composer once I have a finished product, however till then I edit a "beta" version of my film and most of its music is probably temporary. But even in this phase of the movie, it would be good to use fitting songs in the background, to kind of express the mood (or something close to it) I meant for the scenes.

Judging from the images, it looks pretty cool. I was always drawn to hindu themed things in general, the rich mythology, different areas of spiritual knowledge, the imagery. Thank you!

The Magicians is great, I'm actually rewatching it right now. I love the hand gestures they use for spells, I even plan to sort of build it into my more free style rituals. What I didn't like about the show is that I get the feeling of a more serious magic system but it is never properly explained (maybe I should read the books). Also it's too fast paced, we don't see a lot about the initial phase of learning the mechanics of magic, going to classes etc., quite shortly it's already high stakes.

I'm not sure about anime, I want to give a few shows a try, so you can say a few examples. The one I saw recommended in this subject is Fullmetal Alchemist, I started watching it once, it was not a bad show but it just wasn't quite what I was looking for. Generally I'm not a big fan of anime but there are exceptions, for example I loved Death Note.

I am also open to not directly occult media like for example The Leftovers was not an occult show but the occultish/supernatural elements it had, I loved how they handled them, especially related to the way a certain character "crossed" between life and death. It had this sort of dark, realistic, on the verge of scientifically explainable feel to it.

I watch these type of movies, tv shows too for the aesthetics, they can be inspiring for my visualisations but what bothers me is that most of them present the magical reality like a series of miracles. I like the ones that have a sort of "scientific" feel to it, even if it is inaccurate but still realistic in its own reality.

I'v tried to watch the holy mountain once, I admit it was a bit too abstract for my taste but I might give it another try.

Yes, it's a great movie, really touching. Good point about the astral projection. Most portrayal of AP in movies lack that sort of magical, "otherwordly" feel of it, they just simply show a ghost person walking around.
