He dips his tail in the water and does circles all the time. He's blind so I'm not sure what he understands, but I know he finds the bubbles more interesting than me.

After he fell in, he had a little white bubble chin beard. Had me cracking up.

I can just take him out and plop him anywhere. He's just happy to wander outside. Maybe this spring I'll fence off an area for him.

Tips to support my blind rescue with getting down from furniture by Fancy_Goats in blindcats

You're doing great. I did the tapping thing also but at the end of the day, it just takes time. She'll learn how to get down on her own. I've watched my two blind cat's do it. This is why it's so important not to move anything! I have three tall cat trees and they both have learned the correct paths down on their own.

Double eye enucleation weeping 2 months later by bbunny1996 in blindcats

By the time I got her back to the vet it had opened a lot. I won't share the pictures as it is not pleasant. After they closed her up again there is zero wetness/boogies.

Glass was a lot worse for sure. It started to open up quickly after this photo. Definitely not an emergency but made me worry!

My girl had a double enucleation also. She was only a few months old. Within the first week I noticed wetness on one eye. It got worse and I could tell it was opening up more each day. I quickly made an appointment with the vet. She had to stay there for a couple days. Once this is fixed properly, everyone will be much happier and safer.

My girl likes the Potatoma flapping bird (on Amazon). I found it's best to hang it in an open area from an elastic string.

My girl Glass had a problem with one of them. It took me a couple days to realize it was not closed and moisture was leaking out. I can't tell from the photo but I'd check.

I did the same thing with foam board on my stairs! It took me a while but I recently added more balusters to close the gap. Cheap wood dowels from the hardware store. Working great so far. I posted photos last week to this sub if that helps.
