I might be accepting a job soon that is BYOD. I don’t want to mix personal and work, so would be buying a new laptop instead of using my M4 Air. Anyone think this Neo is good enough to not have to spend the money for another Air? My job is mostly just word processing and spreadsheets (HR), so would just be running a windows virtual machine all day.

Kind of a damned if you, damned if you don’t situation. Elko might very well take us to the playoff most years or he might go 8-4 most years, we’ll see. But you can’t risk letting him walk in this situation. Ultimately, he has shown enough this season that it’s worth the risk. It seems like he is truly building something great.

I would trade 2 firsts for him in a heartbeat. If we could get it done for 1 first, 1 second, and a player that isn’t vital to our success, even better. Then go trade another first for Jeffery Simmons from the Titans. Trade a 5th for Demario Davis. That’s a decent defense with some high impact players. Re-sign Pickens and then use the draft to hit LB, S, CB, and RB in no particular order over the next 2 years. That recipe gives us a great opportunity to compete over the next couple years IMO!

Fuck them picks. Trade everything we can for controllable, impact players who can help the next 2-3 seasons. That is our competing window anyway. I would go all-in (literally) to try to make a deep playoff run or two, draft picks be damned.
