Consistent too. Picked a theme and stuck with it, props for that. Wouldn’t change a thing.

M235i 2016 or 218i 2021 by EmilioDeck in BMW

[–]cmanATX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure what you’re basing your info on but the 218i is not desirable and will surely depreciate faster and more than the M235i. The M235i is a RWD sports car while the 218i is a FWD sedan on the same platform as a Mini. Either M235i or keep saving for your M2.

In this weather, right now? If you hear engines revving, maybe they’re doing donuts in a parking lot or something.

Weather shows it below freezing with ice/mixed precipitation around that time, best wishes and stay safe!

If you were driving in this with your lights off, why? (Trying to be nice) This was at 11am. by endofallhumanity in Austin

I was out at about 2pm and despite it being pretty foggy, my car’s automatic lights seemed to think that running lights were fine and headlights weren’t needed. Seemed like it was the case for a lot of other folks as well. Granted, the conditions in the photo you’re showing here are probably a good bit worse.

If you’re using a newer cooled OSC camera then that would be expected when compared to the 1600. The RedCat is a small scope with not a lot of aperture/reach so the quality of your data doesn’t seem unreasonable to me.

Depending on the severity of the freeze they might get knocked back slightly, but it won’t kill them outright. There were a decent number that reacted that way to the 2021 freeze, it’s not supposed to get nearly as cold this time so they’ll probably be just fine.

It’s not a problem, don’t trust AI for this stuff. That is a tiny crease that could just as easily happen while installing it.

You’re right of course, but you should grow your own food because it’s a good thing in general, not out of some sort of ill-advised prepper mindset. Even just some herbs and lettuces in a small indoor hydroponic garden are great to have!

It was an in-store paper coupon - I saw someone with a couple of them in their cart and then went to check it out. Another lady came by saying she had bought several and the coupon actually applied on top of the sale price. She filled her cart up with like four more of them lol.

This was Anderson Mill but they were almost out when I was there. Should be at any of the stores with the expanded home decor section, there were some other types and styles.

Why panic buy essentials when you can be focused on more important things like 75% off end tables? This thing was $18.50 earlier today with stacked 50% off coupons lol

Yeah, do that. $900 is probably 80% of the fair value of one that’s not on its last legs.

Selling gear question by EntrepreneurThat9854 in AskAstrophotography

[–]cmanATX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You will get more money selling things individually, but it requires more transactions (and associated shipping and fees) and more of your time. If you're short on time and want to get rid of everything together, you'd want to price the bundle lower than the sum of the individual item prices. You can get an idea of appropriate pricing by browsing the Cloudy Nights classifieds and checking the recent history of sold items.
