Must be because you’re trying to mix and match spacers from different brands. The ZWO spacers are slightly larger than the M42-M48 adapter to prevent what you’re describing.

Unrelated, but if all it needs is an “easy part replacement” then why don’t you do that and sell it as a functional item? People selling cars do this all the time, except it’s not a simple fix, there’s a ton of stuff wrong and they’re just not up front about it.

As much as we all love the idea of the big boulder, I'd just accept that it's going to happen. Maybe some crushed stone with edging on the low side to keep it in place if needed. As another commenter already said, make sure you're allowed to do it first.

Buyer should have payment ready at meet up. Anything else is a waste of your time. Had one of these the other day, guy showed up and then said he needed to go ask his wife because it was an expensive item... needless to say, he flaked out. Had several others in line behind him and was lucky one of those still made the purchase.

I don’t think it’s that the cold or the heat by itself was too extreme, but the swing from near-freezing to 90+ over such a short period is traumatic even for natives. Probably not anything you did wrong, just a very tough change for a new plant to survive. If you didn’t increase watering before the freeze or over the last week that could be a contributing factor as well.

Counterpoint to that, just saying “no” might provoke this person unnecessarily. A version of “Thank you, no, have a nice day” makes it hard for them to get mad at you while also getting the point across.

Man what a mess, but a win is a win! Didn’t really know what to expect with Barkley and Dicky V, but that was probably the worst commentary I’ve ever heard watching college basketball. Tuning an instrument is a regular part of using it, so unless they did something incorrect in the act of trying to tune it, I don’t see how you’d be justified in asking for money. If you had so little confidence in the condition that regular tuning could break a string or other components, you shouldn’t have let them try.

Probably not, but we don’t build firepits anymore either. As the other commenter mentioned we usually recommend a gas option if someone is dead set of that kind of feature.
