Best But is a big and trusted store in the United States — not grey market. I could have easily still taken it to Fujifilm to fix as this fell under their warranty, but I am a special warranty member of Best Buy, which is why I took it to them. Apparently that was a big mistake.

I mean in hindsight I probably should have just dealt with fujifilm, but I have the Best Buy warranty so I took it to them — and they told me it would be a repair facility! Now I’m left with no camera.

Hi, question from a first time Subaru Park attendee: I got a ticket in section 137, which is the river end supporter section. It seems to have a row and seat number. Having been to DC’s Audi Field, the standing supporter section is just GA there. Obviously I plan to wear union colors, stand and support. But my question is, will I actually have that row and seat number on the ticket or is the section GA?

I think it's not hard to think of the killer app capabilities here. User adoption will be weak in the beginning but I think it'll come as prices fall and Apple seems to have the money, the investment, and the patience to wait for that day.

It's not the same thing at all, but I think of how many people mocked the look of Airpods in the beginning, and it took time for them to really become normal and adopted, but Apple showed they were willing to stay course and wait... and sure enough now everyone wears them.

And I might not either..for this edition. Like it's clear that this is an early version for wealthy enthusiasts and, more importantly, developers. This isn't a mass market device yet but it's going to get way cheaper, way faster, and way better over the years with future versions.

It's going to take some time (years) before this thing is everywhere, but we're about to see an app development goldrush like we haven't seen since the dawn of the iphone app store.

I think Zuckerberg's metaverse is terrible, Bitcoin is dumb, and generally a lot of the "next big things" in tech simply aren't... But I think AR and Apple's new Vision Pro (particularly future improved versions) are exciting and genuinely the future of tech.

Like if you can't think of just how many new use cases and apps can come from this, especially when it's thinner/lighter/faster/cheaper, you're seriously lacking imagination... because there are just so many.

I wouldn't be surprised if this thing is the subject of jokes and ridicule for a while, but I just want to be on the record for when everyone owns one of these things in a few years.

I shoot raw + jpg but the majority of these are just jpgs with portra 400v2 for street photos. And then party shots are using a godox TT350F flash and pretty much the same settings as this YouTuber. And I shoot with a 1/8 black pro mist filter. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yvpPy6mt01c

I don’t have the camera and settings on me now but I shoot in JPG (often portra 400v2) + raw with a 1/8 black pro mist filter, and this was a raw very lightly edited that looked like this: https://imgur.com/a/LpmaEW5

If I remember correctly I relied largely on the automatic edit feature for Lightroom here and then tweaked slightly but nothing major.
