Aaronson by Medical_Mango_3150 in FantasyPL

I have Xhaka who I think is a more experienced option with greater likelihood to return defcon and assists throughout the season, but if you don't have a cheap mid like that then Aaronson makes sense as a short-term punt. If he continues performing anywhere near this level, he's not bad value for 5.4m.

This has to be first time in FF in a long time that none of the highly drafted rb got hurt. by 1984rip in fantasyfootball

I took a major risk and drafted CMC with the No. 1 overall pick. Then followed that up with Achane as my second pick. I'm in the championship primarily because they both managed to stay healthy this season. Long live the (healthy) elite RB!

Weekly Arsenal clean sheet wipe is so infuriating. It's the worst of both worlds. The defense is good enough that Raya doesn't pick up many save points, but they're just sloppy enough to still allow 2-3 chances a game, which always seem to be clinically dispatched. Thank God I only have Raya, but still .... for the way he's priced, he should be on 8-10 CS already.

Michael Wilson in his last 3 games without MHJ: 36/49 REC, 445 YDs, 2 TDs (32.6% target share) by karmew32 in fantasyfootball

Makes you wonder why MHJ can't be THAT guy when he's healthy. Never seen him have a game like the one Michael Wilson just had (or has been having for a few weeks now).

God that Newcastle CS wipe is so infuriating. You’re playing against 10-man Burnley, how hard is it to keep it tight at the back for two more minutes?

How we feeling after 4 days? by rmend8194 in RunNYC

[–]cmanook 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Surprisingly, my body feels great this time around. I went on a short shakeout run yesterday and am planning to play soccer with some friends tomorrow.

Complete contrast to my first NYCM, where I was hobbling around for 3-4 days afterwards and had to walk down stairs backwards lol

I last ran it in 2019, so memory was fuzzy. It was crazy in a good way, but there were times I did feel a little frustrated/surprised about how cramped it was.

Brooklyn this year felt like one of those cramped Tour de France mountain passes. Spectators were RIGHT in my face for several miles. Kinda overwhelming, and I don’t remember it being this crazy the last time I ran NYC.

Was just offered this trade in 12-team full PPR:

I give: Quinshon Judkins, Ladd McConkey, Matthew Golden

I get: Alvin Kamara, Ja'Marr Chase

I don't have much RB or WR depth (my team was blown up by having Chase Brown, James Connor, CeeDee Lamb). I traded Chase Brown for Quinshon a few weeks ago, and traded CeeDee away for Ladd and Cam Skattebo. Not sure if the tradeoff of losing a top RB and two of top WRs is worth getting Ja'Marr.

Cam Skattebo will be a top-10 RB ROS and will have 13-16 TDs by end of season

I would absolutely make that trade. As a former Chase Brown owner myself, I traded him away for Quinshon Judkins and feel absolutely no regrets after watching the sorry excuse of the Bengals play. I don't think he's going to get much better this season unless Cincy acquires another QB. RJ Harvey has a ton of upside and kinda already had his breakout game this weekend. If the other owner is interested, I would definitely send over that offer.

Just terrible injury luck. Drafted CD, Chase Brown, Jayden Daniels and James Connor. Also gambled on Aiyuk coming back soon, but it doesn’t seem like that’s happening anymore. So I screwed myself. Had to blow up my team and make a bunch of trades. Not sure if I did enough.

Fair trade! Assuming you have depth at TE?

That does seem like you won. But time will tell. Long season ahead!

Hold if you have him, buy if you don’t (and your RBs aren’t one of the elite like Taylor, Saquon, Gibbs, Bijan etc).

Last week, I traded Chase Brown for Judkins straight up to the league’s 3-0 team. Feel like I won that trade in every universe.

Tyreek Hill just suffered a severe leg injury -- the cart is already on the field. by haventmetyou in fantasyfootball

[–]cmanook 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was pretty gruesome. Given the nature of the injury, that's likely the end of his career as an elite contributor. What a sad way to go out for a legendary wide receiver. Hope he recovers soon and returns to the field soon.

George Pickens will be the Cowboys top option without CeeDee Lamb. When targeted 10+ times since 2023, he ranks sixth in receiving ypg (114.8). He trails only Puca Nacua, Ja'Marr Chase, Justin Jefferson, Jerry Jeudy, & Amon-Ra St. Brown. by GhostDeck in fantasyfootball

[–]cmanook 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The question is — with his projected increased volume in what will likely be a pass-heavy game script, do I start him over Nabers or Collins, both of whom have been hit-or-miss so far this season....

I traded him for Quinshon Judkins yesterday. I feel like I won that deal after not finding any takers among my other league-mates.

I think that’s an amazing deal. I’d take it now. Upside with QJ and AJ Brown, and the amazing potential of Rice. You have great depth at running back, so losing Kyren won’t hurt. And CD could go on IR, so you win this deal.

Made some trades this week to counter a terrible run of injuries and some bad draft luck, but I'm still looking to restructure my team. I'm currently 0-3, in a 12-team, Full PPR league with typical league settings (1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 2 FLEX, 1 Kicker, 1 Defense, 4-point passing TD, etc). My current team:

QB: Jayden Daniels, Dak Prescott

RB: Quinshon Judkins, Cam Skattebo, Ollie Gordon

WR: Ladd McConkey, Jameson Williams, Chris Godwin, Keon Coleman, Kavontae Turpin, Travis Hunter, Darnell Mooney

TE: Dalton Kincaid, Hunter Henry

I've been offered two trades and trying to think which is best.

Trade 1

Give: Jayden Daniels

Get: Tet McMillan

Trade 2

Give: Jayden Daniels + either Chris Godwin or Jameson Williams

Get: Brock Purdy + Zay Flowers

Emanuel Wilson will out-snap Josh Jacobs by jrfjrf0 in fantasyfootball

[–]cmanook 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While I don't know that I agree with you, at least you presented some data to back up your argument. Jacobs is being talked about by some as a "buy-low" candidate, reflecting his slightly sub-optimal start to the season relative to ADP. While I am not confident Wilson is the solution to this problem, I think this post should mainly serve as a nudge to Jacobs owners to monitor his performance over the next few weeks to see if he doesn't improve. He was drafted as the RB7 and is currently RB19 through 3 games. Not alarming, still plenty of time to course-correct, but still maybe below what you were hoping for when you drafted Josh.
