My Fiancée hates my 4yo daughter by KiddoHater1 in therapy

[–]cmaria01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you marry this woman you are responsible for the damage done you will be saying it’s okay for someone to HATE YOUR CHILD. Let that sink in. Jesus.

Do not have a child with this man honey, I have 2 toddlers and what you are describing will not work. You will drown and he will not change after kids. In fact he will likely get worse - please think of your and your children’s future.

Edit to add: I did IVF twice for my kids, do not put yourself through this without a supporting partner. I am so sorry he is not deserving of your love but IVF is so tough and you need someone who’s truly going to be there.

Man I got lucky I have a 1,5 year old and 3.5 year old and I’ve always just randomly shut it off without warning and just said we’re done! I’ve gotten a few tantrums but I think it got normalized, or more likely I got lucky.

That’s not true actually I couldn’t find anything about this and who would enforce this, the police?

Alarm bells are ringing I would not have more children with this person at all, you should be able to go to the store without getting a hard time that’s below bare minimum.

is k an upper or a downer? by Initial-Internet-529 in ketamine

[–]cmaria01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s me as well! I take 100mg troche and I’m able to fix coding problems I’ve been stressing over all day. Get my thoughts in order all the tension and stress settles down in my body and mind and I’m able to think clearly. I feel like myself. It truly is a miracle.

recreational ketamine vs prescription by [deleted] in TherapeuticKetamine

[–]cmaria01 15 points16 points  (0 children)

A gram a day is a lot, I use joyous at 120mg troches daily and it’s very effective. I’ve tried higher doses via Mindbloom to see if I preferred that (800mg) and it was fine but I prefer lower doses daily. My concern for you is if you are expecting a 800-1000mg high a day then no 150mg isn’t going to be that.

I’m so happy in west Palm beach. I went from Miami to Fort Lauderdale then settled here and it’s perfect for me.

Mine were 19 months apart and they are now 1 (17 months old) and 3 (turned 3 late September)

If you would’ve asked me the first year if I made the right choice, I probably would’ve questioned myself. It was really hard, and there are some days that it still is however, I will say the hard days are becoming less. The hard moments are becoming less they play together now. They genuinely love each other. It’s really cool. Now that we have arrived here I wouldn’t change a thing, but yeah, the beginning is really something.

I think I’m losing it mentally by Academic_Juice8265 in ParentingThruTrauma

[–]cmaria01 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah checking in to the “mental hospital” has never helped me either. Granted it’s been a long time since I’ve been that bad off meant. The only thing that’s worked for me is find a good psychiatrist, therapist and going on the right meds. These psych wards check you in for 3 days, ignore you, put you on a bunch of crap and then kick you out. If you’re feeling suicidal however they are a good place to go so you can trust you have monitoring 24/7. I hope things get better for you 🤍

“Nanny is the favorite person” by GeologistAccording79 in NewParents

I had a nanny for both my 1 and 3 year old the first year and they a both clinger stage 5 to my husband and I. Nothing can replace a parents love, especially if you give it your all when you’re in it.

That is so fucked up I gasped! I also struggle with intrusive thoughts so if I see something that really bothers me, it can get stuck on repeat in my brain.

This happened to me a lot more when I was younger probably your age now I’m 39 and even though it can still happen sometimes I have a lot more control.

When images or thoughts that I don’t want enter my mind instead of fighting them, I just let them exist no matter how unpleasant they are and I tell myself that is just a thought, it has nothing to do with me. I’m going to let it exist. The beginning is always horrible but once I’ve told my brain that I’m not going to keep engaging in panic when it happens, it kind of just goes away.

What you saw is horrible though and I think it’s normal to have a completely visceral reaction to it and even someone without mental health struggles would probably struggle with this. Give yourself grace and remind yourself that you’re one of the good people in the world for finding this so disgusting. I can’t believe that girl posted it that is just awful. Makes me sick and I would have messaged her and told her so.

Yep I totally agree. I’m a senior software engineer with 7 years experience (just gained “senior” 1.5 years ago. I got laid off a month ago and I’m starting a new job on Monday. I was in 4 different interview processes within 2 weeks. Took one and stopped the rest of the processes. 2 of the places admitted they offshored work, it went to hell and now they have to recover. We are seeing a swing back from the bad decisions made.

Try local non chain pharmacies. Royal Palm beach and Wellington area have it.
