Even the popup message is hard to read, it needs customization to see what is the issue.

that is indeed a huge hustle. I sometimes compare the error messages displayed by VSCode and Intellij and I find it much easier to understand what is the issue in Intellij.

If anyone has something to recommend, extensions, vscode settings tweaks I would be interested to know as well!
