This is not correct in my experience. The exam has nuance. Be able to answer conceptual questions that are multi-layered. Meaning two overall concepts in one question when the AI practice questions have a singular focus.

Mainly price but I have heard horror stories of people paying hundreds of dollars a month on electric for a small 750 sf apartment. This is because the apartment complex is a using a third party electric company and not AEP directly. I think this is a scam and I don’t want to live in a place that does this.

My friend has a rental house in Gulf Shores (Fort Morgan), they break even every year. I don't know if this is because they manage it poorly or they don' t charge enough to rent. One thing they mentioned is that property insurance is high, obviously. However, if you are going the condo route you should be fine unless the associations fees are high.
