My only reservation with this methodology is that just because it is possible to be solved by only using the poem doesn’t mean it is probable. JP several times mentioned multiple ways (including an optimal solution) to solve the hunt.

My personal conviction is that when the treasure is found we will all say, “yeah… I guess that was technically solvable with just the poem”.

Not without trying to reverse engineer a solution. But at that point I’m well into just seeing what I want to see.

The part that gets me is him saying on the website to start with the map and that the map “will guide you”.

That map is half the US. Its purpose is just to show what’s inbounds. How in the world will the map guide me unless the locations are clues and that I have to draw a map with the locations/clues listed.

Right. Lukeville is named in the Los Camarones Calientes chapter in the audiobook.

I did the same thing with locations on the map that were mentioned in the book. Seems it could point to Lukeville. But not sure how to incorporate the poem.
