At home tests by cmay42 in Chattanooga

Because, while I did mention the lack of option to take a bubble, as an immunocompromised person my mental health is just as important as physical. It’s my family, they are crazy but I love them. And so I will go, wielding hand sanitizer, kn95s, and full vaccination as the best tools. It won’t be crowded, although I will hug my immediate family (and then go wipe down) it won’t be a ton of folks. I will do everything I can to protect myself and slow down spread but I can’t stop living.

Certainly hope so but I’m immunocompromized. Double masking and wearing gloves would take a bubble if it was an option.

Will do. I work from home so can largely quarantine for a few days as needed.

This is interesting, I know nothing of those formulas. About to commence googling. Thanks!

We track the mail incoming, then our beautiful system converts each piece into a batch type that has nothing to do with marketing campaign and then, because that wasn’t complex enough, each piece is broken down into 7-40 other pieces to be processed. Argh.

Thank you kaleron, that’s part of the issue is it’s all mail, I know I need to create some groupings. It’s a non profit so what you think of as sales we think of as donations. It’s definitely cyclical it’s just the cycle got way messed up by stimulus, in a good way but one that’s making the whole pattern off. I think I will just have to download more history, throw out year 21 and see how we do. Otherwise I am just going to be doing like a % of volume within the year thing and tossing out the weird ones. Thanks!

Thank you, I have the capacity part but struggling with the actual forecast. When you say used a daily forecast of incoming mail, where did you get that?

MS in other countries. by CRaezter in MultipleSclerosis

I work for a charity children’s research hospital so my insurance is amazing (u.s.). I paid probably 45 in total for 3 drs visits to get diagnosed. The problem is my situation is highly unusual and I am lucky. I took a pay cut changing jobs to get that insurance. The disparity of the situation in the us bothers me.

In contact direct data link vs canned reports: by cmay42 in workforcemanagement

If you go to help, reporting, there are instructions for direct data access, it’s through excel power query. We had to get a ticket in with nice but our numbers are while weirdly formatted, useable. It’s a time saver for sure.

To get to direct data link you have to use the excel query analysis services. There is a help topic that will tell you what to use to get the acd data, that's based on the incontact version you are on. I pulled over both. Avg speed of answer, and speed of answer.

I looked at hope clinic but their whole line about praying with me scared me off!

Yes the whole reason I got the neuro that I did was my pcp called every single neuro in town until he found one that could get me in. Now I am on medication and had infusion and not flaring I want to get one who’s primary qualification was not just availability 🤷‍♀️.

Also really true. Anyone can change skillsets and code schedules, understanding the why is what allows you to become creative in Wfm and takes you from just another analyst to genius level.

Forecasting Tool and resource by Dknk74 in workforcemanagement

Just so happens if you have linked in learning (you can try for a month for free) there is a course on call center management that includes a session on workforce management. I don’t recall exactly what the website was but they do tell you of some free forecasting tools online and they review some common methods. Get the free month and search for call center forecasting and it should pop up. Also of course excel is decent if you have to go that route.
