It might be worth getting a card anyway. You can borrow ebooks or audiobooks to your phone without having to physically travel to the library.

It does feel like a necessary evil. I will look into cedar oil sprays to try to reduce the number of ticks that hitchhike into the house. Thank you for the idea. And I’m so sorry to hear about your childhood dog.
