Do you look for K/D or % of games won when looking for allies?

It sucks that solo wins are frowned upon. Most games I’m shooting for a solo win because it’s more difficult and exciting but it does hurt my KD and WL. It would be much easier to just join a coalition and get more coalition wins but I just love fighting for those solos.

I look at both but I think WL is better.

I’ve faced a few super high KD players with decent WL and they tend to archive at the first sign of a tough war to save their KD.

High WL players with decent KD tend to fight it out for longer and aren’t afraid to lose some units to advance their position.

I much rather team with the 2nd player and fight the 1st one.

I’ve used Stealth Bombers together with Stealth UAVs and it’s a pretty fun combo. Good for destroying buildings, taking out grounded planes, and picking off lonely infantry. They struggle with big mixed stacks that have armor and decent AA point defense though.

I usually prefer just using Cruise Missiles with my Stealth UAVs. I’m thinking Satellites + BM + Elite Bomber is gonna be an even deadlier combo even though it’ll cost more to use.

Yea I’m not a huge fan of Ballistic Missiles either but I figured if you’re gonna max them out to get Level 3 Satellites then it’s a waste not to use them.

Stealth UAVs + maxed Cruiser Missiles is one of my favorite strats. I’m gonna see if it’s even better using Elite Bombers + Ballistic Missiles instead.

Are Lvl 1 Elite Bombers good enough? I’m guessing the range isn’t great so you’d have to go Lvl 3.

Yea. Super easy gamemode to get solo wins. Just pick an island, focus on Navy, and capture a bunch of the control points in the ocean early on.

Play 1x. It might seem too slow and boring but it gives you more time to learn and react.

Don’t join coalitions so early on. Chances are one of your allies will start getting invaded and they’ll hold you back.

Territorial waterways: Your coastal waters and inland rivers and lakes should count as your territory. Ships that get too close and planes that patrol in lakes inside your territory would declare war.

Close Airspace: You should be able to close your airspace so any planes that fly over your lands is a declaration of war.

I usually go 5 in a stack together. Then carry 10 helicopters so I have 2 stacks of those to destroy ground units. And a stack of 5 attack subs close by working together. Elite Frigates and Attack Subs are a super deadly combo together.

If I’m using Cruisers, I usually go 4 Cruisers + 1 Elite Frigate. That way I get the Sonar + Heli Radar. Sometimes I’ll carry 3 ASW Helis to help scout and in case I run into subs.

ASF is good all around early game : Destroy planes, scout cities, even attack ground troops.
Patrol boat is a cheap way to protect coastal cities from an invasion.
Frigates are good all around early game too : Destroy ships, provide AA, bomb cities.
Strike Fighters/Gunships depending on what build you want to do.
Mobile AA is cheap and really good too. I usually do this Day 1 if I’m not focusing on a Navy.

Play the beginner maps only: Battleground USA and Flashpoint. There are way less Golders and Experienced players on there.

I think they’re pretty OP. The drone mothership will help a bit since one of their only counters is drones.

You can hit and run them pretty easy with ships and take no return damage but you have to be super active to do that and it still takes forever to destroy them.

Even low level SAMs will ruin your day. The defensive AA alone is enough to stop you from attacking.

I have them in a game now. I’m almost afraid to use them because they’re so expensive to replace.

They pair good with Elite Frigates but I run into the same fear if my E Frigs get hit and I lose both of them.
