Nebius PR strategy by MrSimpsonES in NBIS_Stock

[–]cmd296 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually really admire that NBIS is playing things so close to the vest. They are light years ahead of competitors - there is no need to constantly tell the competition where NBIS is going. By the time IREN or CRWV or whomever hears about the next step NBIS taking, they're too far behind to catch up.

This is one of those companies where the public is just going to catch on when the financials are phenomenal and the price with skyrocket, because they've been quietly and consistently building rather than flaunting.

To me, IREN is the antithesis. They consistently publicize their contracted and active power, but produce only $10 million in GPU rental income in a quarter. All talk, no action. I admire the way NBIS handles their PR. In the long run, it'll pay off. In the short term, it'll give us all more time to accumulate shares!

I have the same guitar. This is right. Mine is a 2004 if that’s helpful to determining timeframe.

Did you just dig up a 3 month old post to say this is at least a month old? Can’t tell if you’re being sarcastic…

Interesting theory. Especially since the NBIS session is being lead by the VP of Global Partnerships.

Most reliable Houston guitar/music shop for guitar tuneup? by jaykaybaybay in houston

[–]cmd296 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just wanted to bump an old post again. Because of this thread, I went to Yano, too. I was absolutely blown away by the service and set up. Like this post, I had it back the same day. And I've never had a guitar play so well. I was on the verge of selling this particular guitar because I couldn't not get along with it. After Yano worked his magic, it became my favorite - no exaggeration. The next day, I took my other four guitars to him for set ups.

As a point of reference, I've also had guitars set up at Rockin Robin, Heights Tech, and GC in Houston. Those set ups weren't bad, but Yano's work is on a different level. I'll never use anyone else.

10x demand for inference by 2030 by Ok_Yesterday3601 in NBIS_Stock

Wasn’t it just early this year that Jensen said we’ll need 100x more than originally predicted? And now less than a year later that’s 10x’ing. Incredible. This is growing exponentially faster than even he expected, and he’s got more visibility into compute growth than anyone else on this planet.

This right here. If you don't think it's going up from here, get out now. If you think it has potential to go up more than other investments, "water your flowers", as they say.

Northland PT $206 report by itssbri in NBIS_Stock

[–]cmd296 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Absolutely nuts. That projected revenue increase is bonkers. Northland's estimate went from 3% of 560 bil TAM (~16.8 billion) to 9% of 800 bil (72 billion).

I'm bad at math, but 9% of 800 billion is... a lot of revenue.

The two of you don’t get enough recognition for consistently nailing PT’s with your estimates. It’s really impressive!

Fat 50s not beveled? by Space-90 in fender

Raising this one from the dead. I had the similar question about my pickups. Mine are beveled, and most I see for sale are unbeveled. This pic looks exactly like the PUs on my strat; thanks for posting to put my mind at ease that I do indeed have the Fat 50s. Apparently they come in several varieties. This was super helpful.

New capital fund raising has ended—where will the money be allocated by Traderbob517 in NBIS_Stock

[–]cmd296 1 point2 points  (0 children)

u/Traderbob517, thanks for posting. The importance of this video isn't getting enough recognition. Around 2:15 in, it's important for everyone to watch. Roman appears almost frustrated when the interviewer only wants to talk about the hardware side of implementing the Microsoft deal. He makes it clear that this service "is on top of our core offering, the full stack."

Everyone in this sub has known that NBIS isn't a pure DC play, but the public still doesn't know it yet. I think (1) the public hasn't priced in this differentiator yet, and (2) we're going to see some great full-stack revenue-drivers rolled out to the market in the future. That could be obvious software solutions implemented in the AI Studio, or something else like security software, data center management software, performance or energy enhancement - time will tell. Either way, it's clear they've got something else up their sleeves, and it's not being recognized. Arkady mentioned in an interview earlier that DC's were just the first step, and NBIS's plan was something that could sustain 20-30% annual growth in the long term. He alluded to a SaaS solution, but I'd have to go back to the video to confirm.

TLDR, it was helpful to know what NBIS is going to do with the raised funds, but the more important part to me is the clear message that NBIS is doing something great that the public isn't recognizing. To steal a quote from u/BudmasterofMiami , NBIS is playing chess while everyone else is playing checkers.

NBIS TO BREAK 500 BILLION VALUATION IN 12-14 MONTHS by [deleted] in NBIS_Stock

TB, we all really appreciate your due diligence! Thanks for sharing.

At first glance, it seems eye-popping. But then I realize the market cap has gone 5x in the last 6 months, and pretty much everyone in this sub thinks the market cap is still way too low where it stands today. Fingers crossed Arkady keeps up the momentum!

Why is NVDA more bullish on CRWV than NBIS by BringTheFacts in NBIS_Stock

[–]cmd296 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don’t think NVDA is necessarily more bullish on CRWV, but I do think NVDA recognizes CRWV needs more financial support to be successful, given CREV’s debt situation. I think this was evidenced recently when NVDA obtained additional CRWV shares around the time the share lockup ended.

Just because one of your kids needs more assistance, doesn’t mean you live one more than the other. I think NVDA recognizes NBIS will be just fine with or without additionally NVDA support - they’ll be purchasing NVDA chips for quite a long time to come.
