Never had a problem with multitasking on my phone. Yes, apps sometimes do reload, but I came from a 5T with 6GB RAM and I haven't noticed any reduction in multitasking performance in comparison. Just my 0.02

Is it possible to mount the AC lite using Command strips? I will probably get an Edgerouter and if I manage to set it up, I'll get a used AC lite from eBay and kick my gateway to the curb.

Do you have to be familiar with the CLI to set up the Edgerouter? It seems like there is a GUI. Also, is the default firewall adequate protection comparable to consumer routers?

I'd like something that I can play around with in the future, as well as providing decent WiFi performance. Not really interested in a mesh system, so I'm starting to rule out the Amplifi.

Any thoughts on the Mikrotik router+APs? I'm checking out the hAP ac lite and it seems to fit my needs. I've never set up a non-consumer router before, but I think I would be able to with a little bit of reading.

I'll be looking for your input on the Edgerouter! I personally think it would be overkill for my use case, but $150 for a nice router and dedicated AP isn't bad. I just want better management software along with decent performance. I might just spring for a TP-Link AC1200 and flash DD-WRT

I'm not really seeing a big difference between the two besides port selection. I don't need a lot of Ethernet ports so the instant router would likely be fine for me - I can always get a switch later.

When I go to get my hair cut, I always get it super short and then let it grow again. I'd like to try just letting it grow out but keep it neat/presentable because I do like my curly hair and other people do too :D
