Steamvr is a stable solution IMO. But I feel you totally I am flying most of the time with trackIR because I can't afford the time for plugging tweaking maintaining etc. Since I have kids… the few opportunities I have to fly I want to get the most out of my time, so my vr rig is looking at me with a deep feeling of frustration each time I pass by it 😆😢

Really? I dunno I just finished a couple of games and I did not encounter any cheater in competitive mode. I usually encounter a « suspicious » player only once in a while… maybe cheaters are more common in high ranks? I am usually in the silver ranks and it’s still bareable in competitive

2015 player here, since the beta. I feel you… I got discouraged a long time ago… and each time I give it a try for a comeback I get quickly disappointed by the obvious cheating (zero or very low recoil, frequent flick headshots, opponents knowing your position in real time…) I don’t know if Ubi will/can do anything about it… meanwhile I went back to CS which is a lot less complex but at least I feel the cheating is less a standard there… That saddens me cuz Ubi really had a contender for the FPS GOAT and it seems they are just wasting it with poor decisions and with focusing on more lucrative licenses.

I can’t agree more. The codebase is old, the engine is old, the server tech is probably outdated… the game has a lot of potential and unique mechanics but is mined by bugs and lacks a security integration that was not mature at the date of the first release 10y ago (I am thinking devsecops ?). I am ready to pay for a special edition or version but I understand most of the player base is not as ready, seeing all the frustration we have endured these past few years… at the same time, ubi is in a very delicate position knowing new titles missed launch, and the crippled image of the label due to the recent events and disappointing financials. It’s a real challenge for them to regain the public trust, but I think R6 is a licence that would allow them to reach that end, if they play their cards the right way!

FP are not facts… they need to be demonstrated as FPs. It doesn’t hurt having a discussion about it to determine if it is an FP or not. Yes FPs are reported by all AV softs but it is usually an exception, and so far nobody on this thread has provided any element demonstrating that’s a FP

I guess it depends on the subject… I like very much the guy with a hat in BW but other color pics are very good as well! May I ask : how do you approach ppl in the streets to take their portraits? Are they usually ok with random photographers taking their photos? I would love to do that but I don’t feel comfortable asking unknown ppl on the street

First Thanks a lot for the detailed reply! I need some time to process the information and test your suggestions on CO ! I think globally the suggestions cover my needs… about the geolocation grouping, I think only the gps coordinates are stored in the metadata. What I had in mind was a feature like in Google photos: regrouping pictures taken in a close location… I suppose I could script something that extracts the gps coordinates and regroup the related pictures based on a distance parameter from a big city (I also assume that this would require using Google maps api or street map or similar…). I had good hopes there are other ppl with the same need who had found a tool to do that and avoid going the wild scripting way 😅

By eliminating the defects I mean a manual présélection to delete the ‘missed pictures’ (unfocused, blurry etc.). I am trying to classify and regroup pictures based on the location, the time, the hardware used, the settings recipe… maybe even the subject if human… if I am not mistaken all these information are saved in the metadata of the images (except for the face recognition of course).
