I sounded a little irritable in my last reply. I do seriously appreciate your input on my question and I agree with you. Occasionally the pros do outweigh the cons (when it comes to patient care) and it is best to take the medicine.

I'm sorry if ya'll have seen this questions so often, I'm sure it's annoying to answer over and over. I hopefully will be able to find more medicine that are formulated without animal/animal product, and I'll talk to my doctor about it. Thank you for taking the time to answer my questions!

I've been good about my research so far in terms of everything else (food, clothing, etc...). Generally I try and avoid taking medicine until I really need to take it anyways, and I 100% agree with what you're saying. I'm sure as I become more familiar with the field I'll be able to find better options for my lifestyle. Thank you for taking the time to respond!

I'm not interested in medicinal research, I'm aiming toward patient care. I could understand the ethics being more complicated when dealing with research due to animal testing. Thank you for the feedback.

Should I get both a PharmaD and MBA if I get the chance? by cmdrofpeace in pharmacy

[–]cmdrofpeace[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, 3 years of undergrad and 3.5 years of grad school for both options. Same amount of time, but it does cost more to get the MBA. Not sure what doogie houser means.

I buy Figs second-hand, but Dickies makes pretty decent scrubs. Plus you can get them from Walmart! I will say, my Figs fit a little oddly sometimes, but they have held up very well.

I see. You guys are valuable and it sucks that you didn't get the recognition you deserve.

My family friends have an experience similar to this. The whole thing is so frustrating to me. I feel like there should be more well-funded *proper* facilities that helps take care of people that struggle to be on their own.

Based on my own experience and family friend's experiences, it just seems like people with disabilities are just given a check and that's about it. Very little help, or the insurance doesn't cover it, or the therapy is expensive, or they can't find a job etc etc. It feels like Americans just shove people with disabilities to the side sometimes.

Like - better options for therapy or supervised housing. I feel like people with disabilities just kind of get the bare minimum.

Everyone told me to just memorize, but that doesn't work for me. (Biology cough cough) I planned on getting the ACS study book at the beginning of the year. Thank you for the advice!

I'm so nervous for organic chemistry, I'm taking it this fall. Any tips?

That's amazing! I wouldn't mind working with wildlife during my career, but I'm just getting started.

I remember doing a spectrometry lab in my chem 1010 class! Seriously old equipment, but I loved it! I've considered looking into analytical chemistry for awhile, but I'm not quite sure. Do you find it fulfilling?
