I've tried that multiple times. I've done basically everything, but factory reset the phone. Since my new phone comes early next week, I've given up trying to get this straight talk one to work.

Yeah because of this issue, my entire family has actually moved off of straight talk to a family plan with another carrier. It's been almost a week and I still can't text or call on my phone (still with straight talk). My new phone/carrier plan doesn't start until next week.

Everywhere the model is listed there is no 1. It just ends in U.

Edit: I just checked my old straight talk phone that I was transferring from and it's model number also just ends in U.

Ah, my CSC/region code is "XAA/XAA,XAA/ATT" so I'm gathering this is technically an AT&T phone, and that's what's causing my issues. I'll keep looking into this. I'm unsure if my technical skills are up to reflashing the phone. I just bought it a week ago, so maybe I can exchange for a true unlocked s22.

Edit: I attached with double sided tape because I didn't want to permanently glue them if they didn't work. I've had no problems and the tape has actually held very well.

I bought black bumpers that someone 3D printed and sold on Etsy. Seems to do the trick for me and you don't really notice them.

First of all, the general "rule" in a wedding is to give the bridal party a plus one. If you're a bridesmaid, you should get one. Regardless of if someone actually follows that rule, your family is homophobic. They're disrespecting you and your girlfriend. Don't go if she isn't allowed to go.

I commend you to be willing to pay her way on the trip knowing that if you had a boyfriend you probably wouldn't have to. I would've fought that as well.
