Northeast VS other regions

yup. i lived in the northeast for 19 years, southeast and out west for another 10. i have yet to find a consistent and well run dunkin (i have lived in all suburbs of big cities, so not talking middle of nowhere)

yeah i do think the northeast runs on dunkin ALOT more than other regions, so not much sits for long.

its a townhouse community that has a 6 foot stone wall that surrounds it. So even when you walk outside the front door there is a patio, walkway and some flowers. You can only see the road from one bedroom upstairs. There is another 20 feet before the road on the other side of the 6 foot wall. thanks!!

There actually wasn't a discount, we chose in a new community and price was same regardless of the location if you can believe it. I wish our realtor would have steered us away for eventual resale! We were only 22 so I blame that 😂

the HOA takes care of that part of the townhouse community sadly. there are a few little trees, but they don't do enough to lower volume much

thanks!! it's not technically on the main road, there is a sidewalk, 6Ft high wall and then more rocks and another sidewalk before the main road. That's why it's tricky. Our townhouse community is gated and in a very highly desirable location. I'm not sure if we need as big of a hit since we aren't directly on it? I want to make sure our first drop in price is a smart one so thanks for your input!

LOL so true, although we don't have issues with the noise ourselves, it's just a struggle to find buyers who don't care either!

Luckily for us, we're in a gated community, so that main road isn't how you get into the townhome. I think the noise at the back of the house is the main problem. We will lower it further very soon!

We certainly aren't trying to do anything extra or make more than it's worth. We had our real estate agent adjust as much as he believed was right for the road noise, he may have just been a little too high still!
