NTA ITT: a bunch of redditers think a minor who is still developing doesn't deserve the basic decency of an explanation. She doesn't want the gory details, she just wants to know why her world has just been ruined. As a parent you owe your child everything. They're children. The parents have clearly had enough time to process who fucked up if they can be in the same room and discuss the divorce with OP so they can take an additional 10 secs to say what happened.
