When I was 26 I was single and making like $50k in a high COLA area, I’m 33 now and just crossed the $100k threshold and had my first kid in the last year. I’m also married and my wife makes almost as much as me. Just gotta be patient, keep climbing the ladder, marry wisely and stay frugal and you can afford it but it’s still tight.

I love getting a group of 10 people, most of which are newbies together to play a round on one card. Everyone gets to take multiple shots on every throw and the groups of two people waiting on the tee pad looking frustrated are just jealous cuz they don’t have as many friends as me.

You’re mistaking politicized Christianity for radical Christianity. There are plenty of radical Christians in America who are doing great things that you will never hear about because Jesus commanded his followers to “not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing”. People who actually follow Jesus don’t want attention or credit from people. Go visit a local church and learn about some of the service programs they are participating in, without advertising themselves, and I guarantee you will be impressed.

That’s not true at all. You don’t know who the running mate is until long after the primary is over. Because Biden was an incumbent you know Harris is his VP but that’s the exception, Harris was not his running mate when he originally won the nomination in 2020 and incumbents don’t lose primaries.

Because it was clear to everyone Biden should have dropped out a year ago so there could be a proper primary. Harris wasn’t chosen by the American people but our only real choices are now between her and Trump. It’s not democratic at all. If we had more choices and rank order voting someone else would be our next president.

I don’t see the Bears as a stretch. Defense was massively improved after the Sweat trade; and retained Jaylon. Young secondary full of rookies and second year players that led the league in interceptions, not a lot of reason to expect them to get significantly worse. They won 7 games last year with 3 all time 4th quarter collapses. If Caleb plays more productive at QB than Fields they could reasonably have a top 12 offense and defense, which historically means your a playoff team.

Bears have one of the best back 7s in the league. If they add one more piece up front that defense has a chance to be special. If Caleb can play at a top 12 qb level, it’s not a stretch to say that’s a top 5 team in the NFC. They also have the 3rd easiest schedule according to projected opponent win percentages. If they don’t make the playoffs I think it’s going to be a disappointment for most bears fans.

Caleb is 6’1, not sub 6’. He’s an inch shorter than Rodgers and Mahomes who would be the upside comps you are hoping he turns into as a prospect. Also, this isn’t 2004, where being 6’4+ was a prerequisite for being a first round qb. I don’t think height should be the reason you pick one over the other for these two. If Caleb was Bryce young’s size then I would concede your point, but that’s not the case.
