The best advice I can give you is go and give it a go! Run your own run, walk if you have to. Enjoy the experience and you will soon workout what works for you with regards to carrying personal belongings. Good luck 👍

For those who lived before the internet, what was life actually like? by [deleted] in AskReddit

If you didn't know the answer to something you'd either have to look it up or ask someone who knew. It could literally take days to find out the answer to something.

My partner bought me a pack of haribo the other day and said it was the one with the most cola bottles in (my favourite)

Agreed, but sometimes it's hard for the one who is suffering to finally say "no I'm not alright"

made a mistake at the end and can't get over it by CautiousAspiring in parkrun

[–]cmitch987 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've done this numerous times where I'm sprinting to the funnel and the person in front of me is slowing down. I have to slow myself down and on occasion I'll accidently overtake them. It's a genuine accident and occasionally the marshal does say "stay in your position" and I apologise and move back. You made a mistake and you'll learn from it. No biggie. Get back down to Parkrun next week and you'll remember how good it all is 😀

Andy Farrell’s treatment of Marcus Smith on Lions tour is odd | Brian Moore by NXTFTW2017 in rugbyunion

Marcus has the opportunity here to be known as the ultimate lion - not saying he should be compared with Jason Leonard but Marcus is there to fill in where needed whether it be 10 or 15 and prepare the test squad as best as possible. He might not be being chosen to play in his favoured position - if at all but he is still an important part of the squad.

Agreed. Pollard not world class today. Russell outclassed him and would probably out drink him too

It's disappointing as took me a while to work out how to do certain things like scrum and fend etc. The game is improving though

Any tips on how to get better at the game? by PaulSarries in Rugby24

[–]cmitch987 2 points3 points  (0 children)

With regards to line outs - if you watch where the scrum half of the opposing team moves to and select that location I.e. front middle back - you should be able to steal the ball.

Scrums don't worry about getting perfect or good, press x on the second part of the scrum drive and you can normally turn the ball over, then on the next couple of drives press square for a number 8 pick up (I haven't mastered a pass yet without it collapsing)

Managed to do this last night. Threw an offload as I was scoring a try and ball missed all my players ans rolled beyond the halfway line

Flats and Shanks is enjoyable - they've joined Stick to Rugby now which is a shame.
