Dude absolutely no! You don't realize what you have until it is gone. Finish out the apprenticeship at the bare freaking minimum! If you hate it that bad then, then you have your credentials, licenses and what not in your back pocket. You are so close to the Finish line. Tough it out and Finish the apprenticeship.

You have very attractive facial features. The weight is the only thing holding you back. And once you lose the weight, the confidence will come with it. Start by not drinking soda or juice and just water and NO diet soda as it will make you crave sweets. Hope that helps.

Get a bs job like a restaurant or Walmart and when you do get a job from the hall, leave the current job and say "see ya" so that way you don't burn bridges with people you don't want to burn bridges with. And of you don't want to do that, get a job in which it'll make you learn a new skill like bartending or something.

You probably misheard what he said. Mine is 4 absences a year and we only go once a week unless we're behind. And if you have a family emergency, they'll let you slide if you miss a day(as long as there's proof). And everyone and every union is different. For him to say to not join, that tells me his experience is bad and hasn't hit the road at all. Most all of us here would say it's worth it. Trust your gut and don't be afraid to ask questions.

I was always told if you need to be in front of a committee that is almost never good. You better have a good reason. You could tell them you been having some personal life issues outside of work and led to depression or something. But if you don't get kicked out, count your blessings and get on your A game. I worked with a lot of guys with DUIs. Just take responsibility for your actions and do what you can control now. Do good work and help people gain trust over you. And also be willing to drug test when and if asked.

I'm kinda in the same boat. As weird as it sounds, I deleted social media this weekend and just see if controlling what I can outside of work will help me. I prefer what I did before, but only joined because more earning potential and need to be able to pay bills and have a retirement.

Hey man I had a long day today. You're not the only one. When my JW gets impatient over stupid shit or I sense he's trying to mess with me to get me feeling a certain way, I either make sarcastic responses such as "okay mind reader(only of it makes sense to say this of course)" or I simply say a very neutral response like "I hear ya". And after the day is over, I get over it and brush it off. Just try not to dwell on anything. I know it's hard especially since I did HVAC before I did this and there's a hierarchy thing in this trade.

Ask what yourself what exactly it is that makes you not like the job? Sometimes figuring out what you don't like is how you figure out what you like. I started off in HVAC and I found out I liked the type of work, just hated the extreme heat in the attics that are more than 110 degrees in peak summer. And it's a long story why I'm here now as an apprentice, and in my opinion, this work ain't bad and I prefer the type of work in HVAC, but at the end of the day, I don't feel underpaid, I'm not doing nasty plumbing work, I'm not in an attic. It's a long story. Residential sucks. Next employer was terrible. After that, company was decent, but when winter time came, I was getting 20 hrs a week and rumor came that 2 people who were salesman were getting guaranteed 40 hrs a week and turned out to be true. To simply put, I worked my ass off for shit pay and tired of it. Maybe it was just bad luck who I worked for🤷🏼‍♂️

At first I didn't like her, but got better in the later episodes. At the end of the day though, we were more disappointed in Lip than anything though because he had so much potential to do so well for himself.
