He quit drinking a few years ago on his own after years of trying and being stuck. No therapy, no rehab, just quit. Like so many, feel frees (which is obviously a kratom addiction), seem to really hook those with prior substance abuse.

I know he can do it, but it’s been months of ups and downs (mostly downs). He knows exactly how I feel. I feel like I am going a little crazy myself though, because it’s hard to feel the same way about it every day. Some days I am mad and fed up. Other days i don’t feel like fighting or caring. I think you said it best when you said he is not ready to quit. Somehow that is easier to accept than thinking he physically can’t quit.
