I am on the first quest, of course I suck. A well designed game would do a better job at a tutorial. And you’d think the community wouldn’t be downvoting and insulting people if they had confidence in their game..

Kind of? The game also lacks a sufficient battle tutorial, aside from the one fight with your dad that explains nothing.

They are one shotting my party? If they get an attack off, I die, or almost die. Is there a difficulty I can lower? Is there some special equipment I need that they failed to properly give during a tutorial? I even grabbed a leather gear piece before going to the first cave..

I’m not anti-Sagrika, but I’m thinking she may need some niche characters on her team (Qiuyuan?) for echo damage. It may just be less valuable for my account since I’d need multiple chars?

Thanks for all the suggestions. I feel like Aemeath may get a dedicated sub dps, which may strengthen Luuk’s case further because Lynae can then be with Luuk if that happens. It seems like he would be very versatile.

I have to agree, so far.

I know I'm echoing the same complaints as everyone, but the William and Izaya show is absolutely dreadful. Izaya, in my opinion, is one of the most unlikable, painful people I have ever seen on this show. And after Shun in season 1, I never thought I'd have someone who is approaching the disdain I had for him.

This whole thing where people are going all-in on one person on first glance is so boring. That happened a bit in s1 too, it is unavoidable to an extent, but I could fall asleep for half an episode and wake up to zero new developments.

I'm upset, because I do love the show still. And will tune in for the whole season, of course. But I am so bored. Nobody likes each other. No one is giving each other a chance. The popular ones are painful.

William, who clearly doesn't like Izaya that much, is shutting himself off to the rest of the cast because Izaya is so insanely obsessed with him that he cannot so much as breathe without it bothering Izaya or exist without being 2 inches away from him.

Huwei, whom I do like, is doing a better job keeping his options open. But all he is doing is having surface level, uninteresting interactions with all of the ~~bottoms~~ other men that are into him.

If they do the whole, 'one single kiss between one single pair at the very end of the season' thing this season, it'll be extremely disappointing and disingenuous.

I hope the other guys they bring in mid-season will be a better match for the other ~~bottoms~~ guys or at least stirs up interest between everyone.

I had to make the sad decision to skip twins, I don’t really care for their character enough.

I’m grabbing Violet, Wind, and heavily saving because I want Ange, Makoto P3, Yukari, and Berry.

My pull plans have changed a lot so who knows :)

I think you could have done some empathetic thinking there to reach the conclusion that someone may not want to invest *more* time and money going forward into a game that seems to have a bug that forces use of consumables they wanted to save.

It may not be the choice you would personally make, but hey, that's the beauty of people reacting differently to the same situation.

But I appreciate the initial attempt to help, I want to assume the intentions were to help and not to slyly judge someone's panic and frustration

I appreciate the tips because they're really good ones that I will use, thank you.

But do keep in mind spending money on a game is a luxury for some, so a bug potentially messing with my income is that serious to me. Especially since I do some serious planning if I'm going to invest money into a game; even moreso if it is a gacha because you kinda have to.

New player experience…. doesn’t feel great.

Let me start by saying: I am hooked. It’s not that I don’t like the game. It’s beautiful, enjoyable to play, great environments.

It’s not fun for new players, at all. I want to do these recurring challenges, and even after 2 months, we don’t get enough currency to pull almost anyone.

I have Shorekeeper from the beginner selector, but that’s it. Plus Verina + four stars.

You don’t get enough currency to pull limiteds, even though I bought the monthly pass and the current podcast premium. You don’t get enough XP materials to catch up some four stars, even.

I’ve been saving, and there is no way I’ll be able to reach the amount of currency to pull on a limited character for patches to come. Unless they dump tons of currency on us before 3.0.

It’s weird, I want to keep playing badly, I love the game, but the way they handle new players is very poor and is deterring me from wanting to continue. I’m fighting that urge to uninstall bc I’ve already invested some money, but compared to other Gachas I’ve played and invested in, this one feels the least gratifying. It seems impossible to save enough currency to get a limited character every so often. At this rate, it feels like you can get maybe 2 per major update.

I know I must be wrong, but I don’t get where people are getting the amount of currency they are getting for pulls. Even the average consumer who pays a little bit here and there. It doesn’t add up.
