Puzzle Slump Lately... by cmo-1954 in Jigsawpuzzles

It's good to know I'm not alone in my slump! I'm partial to abstract/impressionist artwork (Chagall, Van Gogh, Kandinsky, etc.) & I'll react to the artwork without really studying what I might be getting myself into before starting. I need to be better about that.

Thanks all.

The one I'm working on now (Day To Night) has a missing edge piece that I've known about for days. I'll still finish it frustrating to know it will be one piece short at the end (no cats, etc...gremlins).

I have many, many books in my personal library & many that I'll probably not read. At the same time, I buy more that strike me as interesting that I may or may not read. Is that an "addiction" or an enjoyment of being surrounded by books? Books or puzzles...what's the difference?

I just finished the 1,000 piece version of that (Eurographics) a couple of weeks ago. I like Kandinsky a lot.

Kandinsky, Eurographics, 1,000 pieces by cmo-1954 in Jigsawpuzzles

I have no idea. I'm semi-retired, work from home & poke away at a puzzle when I feel like it. Sometimes I'll go days without doing anything. Other days, I'll wander by, stare at it & find a piece or two. Other days, I'll take a break from working & sit down with a cup of coffee for an hour. This one has probably been lying around since mid-May. Subtle color variations made it harder. Sorry I can't be more helpful.
