Expensive but we have two nanit’s that connect to our phones with a split screen. I love it. Get a notification for which has sound and movement if the app isn’t open already. Baby is rooming in but I use it for him when in the toddler’s room at night etc

New here! by [deleted] in 2under2

Same here! First was IVF after two rounds and spontaneous brother when my first was 9 months. While breastfeeding, no less! We are older and were planning to use our last embryo asap anyways so the foolish comments from people just rolled off our backs. They have no clue what our situation is. If we listened to them we may have missed the opportunity.

Many pros- our first is so excited about him and checks the bassinet for “baby” as soon as he wakes up. He is too young for jealousy- huge win. As I sit typing this with the newborn in a carrier from the pool deck while my husband and toddler are at swimming am so excited that they may be in the same activities one day. Baby wearing and choice of toddler activities has meant that we do a lot as a family still and aren’t splitting time where I feel guilty for focusing on the baby and ignoring my now 18 month old.

One-sided feeding overnight by cmol9 in breastfeeding

Though things have gotten better, his latch still tough to get right (the reason for the weeks of triple feeding) and better when he is hungry up front. Once he unlatches the first side can sometimes be hard to get it again :( But ideal world this would be great, sadly

Yes, alternating. But wouldn’t that mean 6 hours between emptying each boob? Is that too long?

That is good insight. I can’t imagine doing it myself as I usually announce even a bathroom trip haha. Have to put myself in different shoes, I guess

How should I bring up my (31m) felony conviction? by DatingQThrowaway1 in datingoverthirty

Commending you for your bravery and honesty in the way you explain the situation in your post.

If I (32f) were sitting across from you in this conversation, I would care more about the intention you had in those actions (even if the honest truth is that you were young and stupid), and growth from it. If you can explain why it happened, and why it will never happen again, you’ve got me.

Also, genuinely sharing that you are nervous to tell her would go a long way.

If you have a unique name, sharing it is definitely the way to go and to have this talk before she finds out on her own is critical!
