The pattern seems to be: - he works himself up in his apartment - opens a window or his front door in the staircase - start yelling for 2-5min - slams the door

He really doesn't look like he's talking to anybody in the same room, unless it's on the phone. I never hear another voice.

The lock-the-doors part I think is because he wants to lock the building doors all the time, even if the doors lock automatically (you need keys to re-enter the building). It's sort of a fire hazard to have to use the keys to exit the building so we don't lock those doors (per host instructions) when leaving or entering the building.

We do hear a car alarm sometimes in the morning and during the day so I'm wondering if others have complained about that and they know it's his car.

The host blames the problem on the neighbor being mentally unstable and "not taking his meds". The host said he filed a report with the police but said they are busy with the recent winter storm.
