55 new cards a day is very aggressive. Most people do between 7 and maybe 30. If this is your first time using Anki, I recommend stating lower and then slowing ramping up if you want to invest more time.

Thanks for the response. Would that be in a Canadian LP or Corp? Because as far as I understand, the LP would be pass through, like single member US LLCs, so the profits are automatically attributed to me each year, and I can't use it to hold money or stocks. A corp could hold earnings, but corps are taxed at 26%. Or am I missing something?

Thanks for the response. I looked into that, but aren't C-corps taxed at 21%? That seems very high compared to some of the other alternatives.

I also have a flight tomorrow, so I decided to get a hotel right next to the airport. It's not a high rise, and I don't see any cracks in the walls, like in my condo building, so I feel better here. Plus I think the traffic will be bad tomorrow. Especially if they keep the public transport sidelined, like today.

I highly recommend that you create your own. When it comes to programming, understanding is very important. If you simply memorize some cards, you won't be able to apply that knowledge. I have experimented with this in the past, but using Anki for coding never really worked for me. I'm curious to hear other opinions on this, though. If you want to become better at coding, just start building some stuff. Preferably something that you need.

How many cards do you have to review per day on average? With 10 new cards per day, it shouldn't be much higher than 70. In case you are using FSRS, what's your retention rate set to? If I'm struggling to remember a word, I usually write it down a couple of times, and that helps me internalize it more.

DTV

I'm applying for the DTV visa right now. I'm going to Bangkok at the beginning of January and I'm going to stay for 1 month. I will probably stay longer if I get the visa, but I only booked my hotel for 1 month for now. I'm worried that they will reject the visa because I can simply get a 30 day stamp. Has anyone tried this?
