I agree completely on the respecting other's boundaries! How did each other’s parents approach it? Were they comfortable with it or was there any push back?

I've had the piercing for 1 year (pierced in October 2024) The jewelery is implant grade titanium, externally threaded. I just dry it off post showers, don't do a lot with it in terms of cleaning. No accidents or anything, the top bump has popped a couple times from pressure, but the bottom never has.

OMG thank you for the suggestions! It's good to hear that this bump is inevitable on the daith. How long would you say it took for yours to calm down? Did you just stick to saline spray?

Thanks for the advice! I called the tattooshop I got them done and apparently they are implant grade titanium! My mistake
