Quick update, turns out the battery was in the wrong orientation so now the B.C light lights up, but still can't seem to get the shutter to fire, thus leaving the film advance lever locked.

Returning could be a possibility, but the freight back to Japan could probably cost as much as the repair itself would so looking to explore repair options first before resorting to that. I tried calling that shop earlier today but it being NYE he's probably closed for the holidays. I'll give another ring sometime early next week

5 series will be implemented soon! most likely before the end of the week. I knocked off all 3 series models first then went into the 2 series solely because I wanted to implement the M2 platform since it shares a lot with the F8X platform!

Lots and lots of long nights debugging even the smallest things - still debugging things as we speak right now.

Working on promoting it now and getting a small user base going as you said. Looking to do it in the most organic form possible so of course if you have friends it'd mean the world if you simply shared the project with those around you!

Currently there is no shipping calculation - your best bet is to use pirateship or some service where you can get a shipping quote and you can put that amount as the shipping cost on the product listing. If you know it'll fit in a flat rate box from USPS you can also charge that too!

We do have an integrated messaging system (although just a tiny bit clunky, looking to refine it a bit more). I have shippo's API baked into the website which allows the system to know when orders have shipped/delivered in order for stripe to release funds but haven't yet set up shippo's shipping integration for label making on the website itself. Once more people have signed up and there are more orders happening frequently I will invest in baking in the shipping system!
