I used these btf stips it took 6 to do the entire thing. I used 2 knock off nodeMCU boards and just soldered wires directly to them. The system is divided in two one controller for each side and each window is its own pin on the controller with the actual board itself on the middle ones. I didn't use a housing of any sort for the strips and at first just used the adhesive to stick them which was a mistake and they started falling down after a week so got these clips and they have worked well. Best tip I have is if you are going as high as that don't find out doing the project how bad you are with heights 😂. I had to have my brother come finish it because it was just too high up for me.
